Interview with composer Zoltan Paulinyi

Q) How long have you composed, and what made you decide to become a composer?
A) About 10 years composing. History tells violinists were great composers, so I [thought I] should try.

Q) What inspires you?
A) Artistic movements, great paintings, [and] literature.

Q) Of all you have done, what do you consider your best work, and why?
A) What I am doing now.

Q) What is your 'typical day' like?
A) Working.

Q) Do you have any words of wisdom to offer to aspiring composers and musicians?
A) [The] soul is thirsty of beauty: good music can drive us to the heaven. There is war outside, but we can make music and peace.
